The story

McKinley Street in Bellefontaine connects Garfield Avenue and West Columbus Avenue and is listed as a whopping 20 feet long. It held the title of shortest street in the world until a street in Scotland was found to be shorter, and Bellefontaine now bills it as the shortest street in America. It is named for an Ohio president, one of the state's eight who went to the White House.
