The story

In the 19th century this was a heavily traveled route, vital to travelers and to the farmers who drove livestock and hauled goods to market. The Drovers' Trail runs from Hendrysburg on the National Road south to Barnesville and then to Bellaire on the Ohio River, and it features historic homes, architecture and sites along its 37 miles.
