The story

Neil Armstrong grew up in Wapakoneta, in Auglaize County, and learned to fly as a teenager, earning his pilot's license before his driver's license. The byway that carries his name follows the places of his early years, with the Armstrong Air & Space Museum and the downtown of Wapakoneta as its highlights.
