The story

The byway follows the ancient Native trails along the Olentangy River. SR 315 is documented as the first road commissioned in Delaware County, in August 1808, and it remains an important north-south road. Travelers get the Olentangy River on one side and barns, churches and houses on the other, and the Highbanks earthworks lie near the northern end.
